About the role

Responsibilities
- Biosignal processing, particularly respiratory and cardiovascular signals
- Data-driven modeling of components of the cardiovascular system and/or lung function

- Implementation of concepts in prototype software applications
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program (Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or similar), at least in the fourth semester
- Programming experience in software development (Python, MATLAB)
- Solid understanding of digital signal processing, dynamic systems simulation, and statistical modeling techniques
- Reproducible working practices (e.g., Git, notebooks, MLflow)
- Ability to consider clinical workflows and user perspectives, and confident communication in German or English
