About the role
- Internship in software development at Dräger focusing on safety technology, requiring programming skills in multiple languages and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Learn the development process for our products (for example, gas detectors for firefighting) and the methods used
- Program and develop applications in C++ and the Qt framework using tools such as CLion, Squish and Qt Creator
- Work with Java, JavaScript and TypeScript, using frameworks like Angular, Node.js and Spring, and utilize tools such as Protractor, Jasmine, WebDriver, Cucumber, Karma, Spock, Docker, MS Azure and IntelliJ for web and cloud development
- Program in C, C++, Python and MATLAB and contribute to embedded development using µC/OS, Yocto Linux and tools like cppuTest, Google Test and the IAR toolchain
Requirements
- Enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technical Computer Science or Communications Engineering, at least in the 4th semester, or an equivalent course of study
- Ideally some experience in object-oriented programming, web and app development, embedded programming, measurement technology or algorithm development
- Good English skills and experience with MS Office are desirable
- Passionate about coding and enjoy developing software
