About the role

  • Praktikant im Produktdesign bei Dräger, arbeitend an medizintechnischen Gestaltungslösungen. Verantwortlich für funktionales Produktdesign und Intuition in der Bedienung in diversen Umgebungsbedingungen.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure functional product design throughout the conceptual design process
  • Design robust, user-friendly products
  • Enable intuitive operation across a wide range of environmental conditions
  • Depending on the department's needs and the internship tasks, we offer the option to work partially remotely
  • We will discuss details during the personal interview

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Design, Information Design, Product Design, Industrial Design or a comparable course of study, in at least the 4th semester
  • High motivation, team spirit, and enjoyment of 3D design and hands-on product handling
  • Ability to think differently when implementing new ideas, especially when requirements conflict
  • Ideally, initial knowledge in developing interaction concepts or in biomimetics (bionics)
  • Some experience with 3D tools, specifically SolidWorks
