About the role
- (Senior) Business Analyst in financial services and payment transactions. Collaborating with clients on technical and regulatory changes in payment systems.
Responsibilities
- You will work in responsible roles on payments projects within the banking sector as well as for financial services, advising our clients from a business, technical and methodological perspective.
- Provide consulting on changes in national, European and international payment systems as well as on legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely on conceptual and technical topics with our clients and market partners.
- Take responsibility for leading projects or project workstreams and for specific topics and tasks for our clients.
- Produce requirements analyses, business specifications and implementation guidelines.
- Modify or implement payment systems.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in the banking or financial services environment.
- Degree in Economics, (Business) Computer Science or (Industrial) Engineering with an affinity for IT.
- Knowledge of European and international payments, e.g. SEPA, SWIFT, and of settlement procedures such as STEP2, EURO1, TARGET2/RTGS and clearing mechanisms of the EBA/EMZ.
- Very good analytical skills and a quick grasp of complex issues.
- Team player with a hands-on mentality.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel are required.
