Responsibilities
You’ll take ownership of Signable’s data function
Set the medium and long-term vision for how we collect, model, and leverage data
Engineer pipelines, improve data quality, and deliver insights that drive decision-making across the business
Work hybrid across data engineering, analytics, architecture and strategy
Build the pipelines, models and processes that keep our data reliable and ready to use
Own the company-wide data strategy: Defining how data is collected, structured, governed, and used to drive insights across all teams
Partner with teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, People and Finance
Deliver hands-on data engineering and analysis: Design and build robust data models, transform raw data into insight-ready layers
Provide mentorship to the team, establishing best practices and developing skills
Champion innovation in data, including exploring, integrating and educating the use of tools like AI
Requirements
You bring a breadth of experience from different environments and challenges
You know how to hire, build and scale a strong data team, developing people at all levels as the function grows
You are capable of working and guiding the team technically in our tech stack drawing from your deep tech experience
You have the ability to scale and evolve this stack in line with our growth aspirations
You are a Strategic “big picture thinker” with experience building data strategy for a scaling/startup (and ideally) B2B SAAS environment
You bring experience of introducing improved analytics, orchestration and observability practices
You are skilled at guiding the selection of future BI/tools and enable reliable, self-serve insights across a business
You are an exceptional communicator, not afraid to challenge the status quo, able to influence and align stakeholders at all levels, from the board to engineers with ideas, strategy and, of course, data!
