About the role

• Manage Data Science functions and mentor teams at Satori Analytics. Oversee AI delivery and design scalable ML architectures.

Responsibilities

• **What Your Day Might Look Like:**
• **Lead end-to-end AI delivery**: Own ML initiatives from ideation to production — from forecasting and predictive models to recommender systems and explainable AI.
• **Design for scale**: Shape robust ML architectures (data pipelines, feature stores, serving layers) that are production-ready and maintainable.
• **Grow your team**: Manage and mentor Data Scientists and AI Engineers, fostering ownership, high standards, and continuous development.
• **Bridge business & tech**: Partner with commercial and product teams to identify AI opportunities and contribute to pre-sales discussions when needed.
• **Drive best practices**: Establish scalable ML standards, ensuring quality, reproducibility, and responsible AI development.
• **Turn complexity into clarity**: Translate advanced ML concepts into actionable insights for business and executive stakeholders.
• **Push innovation forward**: Bring applied research into real-world solutions that create measurable impact.

Requirements

• **Your Superpowers🚀:**
• MSc or PhD in a quantitative field.
• Manager level: 6–8+ years in Data Science/ML, including 2–4+ years leading teams / Senior Manager level: 8–12+ years in advanced analytics/ML, including 4–6+ years leading larger or multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven experience delivering ML solutions into production environments.
• Strong expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning, using Python-based ML frameworks.
• Experience with ML lifecycle and orchestration tools (MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML, etc.).
• Ability to define and drive AI strategy across business units.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• **Bonus Points for:**
• Experience with Deep Learning, LLMs, NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI.
• Strong hands-on Python expertise (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, XGBoost/LightGBM).
• Experience building modular, production-grade ML pipelines.
• Consulting or client-facing project experience.
• Involvement in pre-sales activities (solution design, proposals, RFP/RFI participation).
• Ability to translate business requirements into high-level AI architectures.
• Exposure to regulated industries.
• Experience shaping AI strategy at an organizational level.
