Responsibilities
The Senior Process Engineer is the key engineering point of contact for Diverts Lexington, NC Operations team.
Monitor and review the technical performance of key systems, including the anaerobic digesters, RNG production, air scrubbers, centrifuges, and automated equipment.
Detect and report any deviations or malfunctions to the appropriate subject matter experts and Plant Director.
Develop and maintain a prioritized action item list, ensuring prompt attention to the most urgent matters and tracking and communicating frequently all issues through resolution.
Serve as the on-site point of contact between Plant Operations and centralized or external SMEs.
Lead technical investigations of process failures to determine root causes and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Provide concise, regular updates to management and cross-functional teams regarding process performance, technical issues, and resolution timelines.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Engineering required, ideally in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years experience working in a processing facility.
Exceptionally strong communication skills, written, verbal and relationship building.
Ability to travel up to 10% to facilities across the US
