Responsibilities
Develop long-term value-adding supplier and relationship strategies for critical suppliers
Translate functional objectives into specific category strategies
Develop annual plans in liaison with Business Partners, Category Head and Sourcing teams
Lead the management of complex supplier contracts, operational reviews, and in-contract negotiations
Identify emerging risks and issues in relation to existing controls
Ensure risks identified are actioned and addressed to a satisfactory level
Attend the Category Sourcing Committee as requested
Lead on commercial management and projects
Engage with Business Partners and develop stakeholder networks and management approaches
Manage sourcing and/or commercial managers as required
Develop coaching relationships at all levels
Requirements
Experience in a commercial contract management role
Sound contract knowledge
Good grasp on principles of Category Management and Category Planning
Experience in managing material outsource and/or offshore suppliers (not essential but highly desirable)
Ability to work with suppliers to resolve commercial issues
Excellent contract and compliance knowledge
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
