About the role

  • Motor Damage Defendant Litigator handling litigated motor damage claims at DLG Legal Services. Delivering high-quality, cost-effective legal support in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, cost-effective handling of litigated Defendant Motor Damage claims in line with legal, regulatory, and client requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and ownership of complex litigation, ensuring cases are progressed proactively and resolved efficiently.
  • Support positive customer outcomes and business performance through strong legal judgement with a customer-focused approach.
  • Contribute to team capability, consistency, and continuous improvement across the function.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or CILEx with a current practising certificate and the right to conduct litigation.
  • Proven experience in civil litigation, ideally within motor damage or insurance-related matters.
  • Road Traffic Accident (RTA) experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong technical capability in drafting, negotiation, and case management.
  • Sound commercial judgement and understanding of cost-effective litigation strategy.
