Responsibilities
- Ensuring adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and CMMI standards
- Evaluating and applying various testing approaches
- Creating test effort estimations based on project requirements
- Developing effective test strategies and plans, including a Master Test Plan
- Reviewing test cases and test scripts created by team members
- Writing detailed test cases and scripts, generating test data
- Testing and certifying software defect fixes and new functionalities
- Executing functional, application, and regression tests
- Conducting audits to ensure compliance with CMMI procedures
- Preparing and submitting reports on test results and overall software quality metrics
- Coordinating with application development and support teams
- Mentoring and guiding junior QA analysts
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing
- 2+ years of experience with SQL testing
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH)
- Proficiency in writing test cases and test scripts
- Experience in creating a Master Test Plan
- Deep understanding of Test Design Techniques, QA methodologies, and SDLC models (Waterfall and Agile)
- Strong knowledge of QA testing tools
- Experience leading a QA team in small to medium-sized projects
- Experience working in various system development environments
