Responsibilities
- Preparing journal entries to accurately record financial transactions
- Preparing account reconciliations based on established deadlines
- Assisting the Senior Accountant in reviewing and validating closing transactions
- Validating details of annual budgets and quarterly estimates submitted by the entities
- Updating and publishing Estimate and Actual Financial Statement reports
- Gathering, preparing, and analyzing financial information and ad hoc reports
- Monitoring key performance indicators and analyzing unexpected variances
- Collecting and organizing information for the monthly Balanced Scorecard
- Conducting self-evaluations following the PLP process
- Supporting the external audit process by preparing detailed financial schedules
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in audit or financial accounting
- Ability to work onsite at the office in Alabang, Muntinlupa (hybrid mode available after training: 3 office days / 2 home days)
- Practical experience with SAP, especially within the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger modules
- Familiarity with SOX compliance processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Willingness to work in shifting schedules, including occasional alignment with European time zones
