About the role
- Senior Engineer responsible for leading EUC solutions and IT support initiatives at Digital Realty. Collaborating with global IT teams to enhance infrastructure and support services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of EUC solutions (endpoints, Intune, VDI, Microsoft 365)
- Act as 3rd-level escalation point for complex EUC incidents and problem resolution
- Manage endpoint lifecycle including images, deployment, patching, and automation
- Define technical standards, create documentation, and ensure compliance with IT policies
- Support global projects such as Microsoft 365/Teams adoption, endpoint rollouts, and Zero Trust security initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and IT support staff
- Research and recommend emerging EUC technologies
- Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve operations
- Represent EUC in technical project discussions and cross-functional IT initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in EUC engineering or IT infrastructure roles
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, Teams Administrator, or Enterprise Administrator Expert
- ITIL Intermediate or equivalent certification desirable
- Deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Teams, Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint security
- VDI technologies such as Citrix, VMware Horizon, or Azure Virtual Desktop
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management
- Automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python)
- IT security best practices for endpoints and compliance frameworks
