Responsibilities
Educational support - Supporting and accompanying male children and adolescents according to their individual developmental and care needs, and promoting practical life skills
Taking responsibility - Designing and implementing the pedagogical concept and coordinating educational programs
Relationship building - Establishing professional relationships with the children and adolescents and working closely with their families of origin
Coordination and cooperation - Close collaboration with partners such as clinics, physicians, therapists, youth welfare offices, and schools
Development - Contributing to conceptual development and cross-group working groups, and promoting team development
Requirements
A pedagogical qualification: e.g., trained educator (Erzieher), curative education nurse/special needs educator (Heilerziehungspfleger), or a degree in social work, social pedagogy, or an equivalent qualification
Experience in residential care settings, particularly in working with traumatized children and adolescents
Willingness to work shifts, including responsibility for 24-hour duties
Clear communication, resilience in challenging situations, and a professional demeanor both within the team and when interacting with external agencies
Familiarity with documentation and reporting, as structured working practices are second nature to you
