**What you'll do**
Perform detailed structural and structural/thermal analyses and sizing of aerospace structures, components, and systems.
Guide structural optimization and design improvements.
Deliver detailed FEM Models used for analysis, from GFEM to detailed analysis.
Define sizing loads and load cases required for scoping detailed analysis.
Deliver preliminary sizing calculations, hand calculations, and simplified estimates to inform the design.
Support ground and flight tests.
Deliver detailed technical reports and presentations.
Assist in the development of manufacturing, integration, and test processes and procedures.
Support the definition and execution of the qualification and certification process.
Requirements
**What you'll need **
Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline
8-10 years of experience as an aerospace stress engineer
FEM experience with Nastran, from building models to analysis, postprocessing, and debugging.
Experienced with stress-hand calculation/analytical methods.
Experience with both metallic and composite lightweight structural design for aerospace.
Experience with Flight and Ground Loads, Structural requirements, Calculations, and reporting in the frame of aerospace regulations/certification standards.
Experience with Matlab.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the English language is required. Knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, French, or German language is an advantage.
