Responsibilities
- Month-end close, financial statement preparation, G/L, Reconciliation, Financial Reporting.
- Research and implement best-in-class accounting software solutions.
- Annual budget and budgeting forecasting.
- Internal auditing such as 401k, workers comp, sales tax, and other regulatory as needed.
- Financial compliance and tax filings management.
- Oversee all accounting functions for owned-and-operated pet care facilities.
- Drive the financial architecture for emerging two-sided platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership.
- Deep technical experience in retail/hospitality operations and digital marketplace platforms.
- CPA and/or Big 4 background preferred.
- Microsoft Office apps expertise, especially Excel.
- Expertise in general cost accounting principles: AR/AP, Payroll, expense, Forecasting.
- Excellent financial analysis capabilities.
