About the role

  • Personal Finance Advisor assisting clients in developing financial strategies. Building lasting relationships and providing tailored advice for optimal financial solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Advise members and clients on optimal financial strategies and collaborate with them to identify desired outcomes
  • Manage business relationships, monitor member/client satisfaction and service quality, conduct follow-ups and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay current with the financial services industry, market trends and best practices
  • Participate in outreach activities and represent the credit union in the community

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • Mutual Fund Representative certificate — Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
  • Proficiency in French required
  • Awareness of current financial, economic, political, and legislative developments
  • Understanding of the philosophy and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives (credit unions)
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements related to the distribution of financial products and services
