About the role
- Financial Corporate Specialist supporting strategic asset, liability management at Sicredi cooperatives. Involves financial planning, risk management, and executive decision support.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of ALM strategies, promoting the integration of best practices across cooperatives.
- Structure funding studies, capital structure (Basel) analyses and long-term planning.
- Develop and monitor financial and ALM KPIs, providing clear reports for senior management, boards and committees.
- Prepare technical reports and detailed analyses on ALM to support decision-making.
- Monitor cooperatives' liquidity, capital and market risk, proposing mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Track credit and funding pricing, considering impacts on financial results and market risk.
- Monitor macroeconomic variables and trends that affect the business and portfolios.
- Participate in monthly asset and liability management committees, contributing in-depth analyses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting or related fields.
- Solid experience in Corporate Finance and/or ALM within the financial sector, or in liquidity risk and market risk functions.
- Advanced knowledge of financial risk management, banking regulations and ALM practices.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling expertise.
- Analytical skills, strategic vision and excellent communication.
- Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or ALM (a plus).
- Certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, CGA/CGE or equivalents) (a plus).
