About the role

  • Director of Influencer Marketing leading influencer campaigns at Dentsu Creative agency based in New York. Responsible for client accounts, team management, and strategic vision.

Responsibilities

  • Own one or more influencer marketing client accounts
  • Provide overall direction to your team on best practices for managing end-to-end influencer marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with Dentsu paid media teams to successfully promote influencer content
  • Pitch business growth opportunities to existing clients
  • Assist your team in developing timelines and project plans
  • Serve as a key contact for Dentsu Legal in matters of contract development
  • Hold ultimate responsibility for meeting financial goals for your accounts
  • Successfully manage a team and communicate challenges and needs

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years’ applicable experience
  • Agency experience is preferred
  • 4+ years account lead experience
  • 4+ years in social/digital space
  • Must have end-to-end influencer campaign experience
  • Must have experience in the automotive, financial or alcoholic beverage industry
  • Must demonstrate strong strategic skills
  • Must have new business experience
  • Must have strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge of sound influencer contracting terms and conditions
  • Experience managing a team
  • A commitment to creating both groundbreaking and high-quality work
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing platforms and key performance metrics for paid/earned/owned media and analytics
  • Ability to distill macro information into actionable items
  • Prior experience with influencer management platforms
  • Knowledge of paid media best practices a big plus.
  • A team and people-focused attitude.
  • An eagerness to learn from others within all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to be self-sufficient while being reliable throughout the day through various communication channels.
