About the role
- Senior Software Engineer designing, developing, and delivering scalable web applications at Demandbase. Collaborating with product and global engineering teams to enhance core product capabilities.
Responsibilities

- Define and implement technical roadmaps aligned with product strategy.

- Drive operational excellence through proactive monitoring, alerting, and documentation.
- Take ownership of problem areas and deliver impactful technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Management to convert business needs into engineering outcomes.
- Conduct code and design reviews to uphold engineering best practices.
- Apply a product mindset—balancing technical innovation with measurable business value.
- Partner with global teams to develop, scale, and maintain core product capabilities.
- Mentor junior engineers through design discussions, reviews, and best practices.
- Contribute to documentation, technical standards, and knowledge-sharing efforts.

Requirements
- 8–11 years of professional software engineering experience in product-based organizations
- 4+ years of experience designing and developing scalable web applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical discipline
- Strong command of modern programming languages and design principles
- Expertise in high-level and low-level design, distributed systems, and cloud architectures
- Hands-on experience with AWS (CloudFront, EKS, ECS, Elastic Cache, Athena, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
