About the role

  • Analyst supporting financial and operational workstreams for Giraffe Bioenergy's innovative clean energy solutions. Collaborating across teams to enhance operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track organisational priorities, projects, and follow-ups on behalf of leadership.
  • Prepare reports, briefing materials, and analytical insights to inform executive decision-making.
  • Act as a communication bridge between executive leadership and departmental heads.
  • Provide strategic input on business operations, performance, and growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with the agricultural team to support operational planning and scheduling.
  • Track farm milestones, input requirements, and seasonal activity timelines.
  • Consolidate field reports and translate operational data into structured summaries.
  • Build, maintain, and update operational workbooks across all business functions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, version control, and accessibility for the team.
  • Drive implementation of cross-functional projects and organisational initiatives.
  • Monitor KPIs, deliverables, and timelines to ensure on-track execution.
  • Monitor actual expenditure against approved budgets across departments.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in an analyst, finance, or operations role — agribusiness, clean energy, or finance exposure is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets; experience building and maintaining financial models and operational trackers.
  • High attention to detail with a structured approach to managing data and documentation.
  • Comfortable working across teams — from field agronomists to finance and investors.
  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
