Manage implementation, maintenance, and critical analysis of actuarial models at HCSC. Develop models and guide others in technical training within a health insurance context.
About the role
- You will work with our practice leaders and professional consultants as a team to solve complex business problems and deliver high quality solutions to our clients on areas including but not limited to:
- Traditional actuarial engagements, including valuations and pricing
- Actuarial transformation, including but not limited to target operating model design and process re-engineering
- Prophet model development and optimization
- Implementation of IFRS 17 from both a technical and non-technical actuarial standpoint
- Risk management
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Actuarial audits
- Support senior leaders with business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities and generating proposals
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above with strong academic credentials
- Qualified or committed to obtaining fellowship qualification of an internationally recognized actuarial organization is encouraged
- Minimum 6 years of relevant insurance and actuarial experience in life and general insurance markets
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence
- Ability to develop good working relationships with the team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
