Responsibilities

  • Manual testing of desktop and web applications.
  • Work with a distributed Agile development team to create high quality epics and stories.
  • Analyze functional and non-functional use cases to define test activities.
  • Design test cases, test scripts and test data that validate each use case.
  • Define clean focussed test scenarios, cases and steps of consistent high quality.
  • Use impact assessments to make effective use of time and resources.
  • Plan and design test strategies.
  • Ensure quality defect logging, analysis and investigation.
  • Drive quality improvements through process, communication and collaboration.
  • Produce high quality work within a defined SDLC and QMS.
  • Interact with product & project management and R&D teams to understand the project and testing objectives.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field is essential.
  • ISTQB certification.
  • 5+ years work experience in a similar testing role is essential.
  • Experience working with Windows & Linux OS.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Proficient with Python programming language, other languages a plus.
  • Experience in defining and executing manual test scripts.
  • Experience in running automation tests in selenium framework.
  • Experience in API testing.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
  • Must be flexible, independent, adaptable and self-motivated.
