About the role
- Systems Engineer focusing on Network Security within an innovative IT service provider. Responsibilities include support ticket management and project collaboration in network security.
Responsibilities
- Processing and documenting support tickets in the area of network and IT security
- Analyzing and resolving technical faults in customers' infrastructures
- Remote support and occasional on-site assistance
- Planning and implementing customer projects in the area of Network Security
- Close cooperation with vendors such as Cisco, HP, Sophos and Fortinet
- Implementing minor configuration changes in coordination with the project team
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in technical support, ideally with a focus on networks or security
- Knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and IT security solutions
- Initial experience in project work is an advantage
- Familiarity with products from Cisco, HP, Sophos or Fortinet is desirable
- Structured, customer-oriented working style and strong team skills
- Good written and spoken German; basic knowledge of English
