About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operation and administration of Windows server and client environments, including Active Directory — ensuring systems run stably and securely
  • Responsible for antivirus protection (Trend Micro) and/or Endpoint Data Protection (EgoSecure): you ensure our infrastructure is protected against threats
  • Endpoint management with Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) — from software deployment to patch management
  • Managing network services: you administer DNS, DHCP, GPOs and printing infrastructure so everything runs smoothly
  • Tailored security: implementation of BSI IT-Grundschutz and information security policies — in collaboration with the Information Security Officer
  • Support: in 2nd level support you not only resolve tickets but also contribute to IT infrastructure projects — possibly with project responsibility
  • Collaborative working: you coordinate with our data center service providers and internal partners to optimally set up the client's IT

Requirements

  • Practical experience administering Windows servers, clients and Active Directory
  • Solid knowledge of Trend Micro, EgoSecure and SCCM/MECM — or a willingness to learn them quickly
  • Networking know-how: experience with DNS, DHCP, GPOs and printer management and an understanding of key considerations
  • Security awareness: familiar with BSI IT-Grundschutz and information security, and actively apply them
  • Process-oriented and hands-on mentality: ideally experience in 2nd level support and IT projects in larger environments
  • Team player with strong communication skills: enjoy collaborating with colleagues, service providers and partners and contribute constructively
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification (e.g. Fachinformatiker / certified IT specialist) with professional experience

Benefits

  • Flexible working hours and remote work for optimal work–life balance
  • 30 days of vacation per year and additional days off on 24/12 and 31/12/2026
  • Annual salary and bonus review, employer-funded company pension plan
  • Flat hierarchies with an informal first-name culture and short decision-making channels
  • MacBook or Windows laptop and an iPhone with dual-SIM
  • Permanent contract in a future-oriented IT company
  • Individual development through our career progression model, structured training catalog and regular development reviews
  • Company car for private use — electric vehicles available
  • State-of-the-art offices with ergonomic equipment in a central location with direct public transport connections
  • Free parking nearby
  • Contribution towards lease payments
  • Company events: Mainz 05 stadium experience, summer party, bowling, online quiz & more
