About the role

• Project Manager overseeing IT projects with a focus on infrastructure and transition. Leading teams to meet customer requirements and project deliverables for a major German IT service provider.

Responsibilities

• You independently plan and manage IT projects and oversee their successful implementation as Project Manager (all genders), from building the infrastructure through transition into operational support.
• You are responsible for planning, controlling and monitoring IT projects.
• You capture customer requirements and oversee project-specific implementation.
• You monitor progress and ensure compliance with defined milestones and required changes.
• You anticipate risks and deviations in project planning and initiate appropriate countermeasures.
• You coordinate external service providers and work in close coordination with our internal service teams.
• After a successful transition, you hand the project over to our Service Management team.

Requirements

• Initial relevant professional experience in leading IT (transition) projects.
• You have a good understanding of IT services and keep up to date with current IT developments and trends.
• Ideally, you are familiar with the ITSM model according to ITIL.
• You can explain complex technical matters to non-specialists in a clear way and have a structured working style.
• You think in terms of service and solutions and communicate proactively.
• You have very good German language skills (C1 level) and good English skills, both written and spoken.
