Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring the quality of developed products by planning, executing, and automating tests.
Actively contributes to continuous process improvement, implementation of best practices, and identification of defects, ensuring solutions meet technical and business requirements.
Execute software tests using predefined scripts for release test cycles or on-demand test suites, ensuring the established methodology is followed to prevent failures.
Create test plans and methodologies for the company’s software products and update them as needed to ensure product functionality.
Report defects to the development team, specify the expected behavior of the affected functionality, and guide developers on how to reproduce the issue.
Produce release documentation and list all routines or features that were changed, improved, or fixed in the release.
Make new versions available to clients for update after testing is completed.
Stay up to date with new technologies, methods, and processes, and propose changes that ensure the quality of the company’s software.
Assist and guide other analysts and assistants in applying the methodology and executing tests, ensuring quality best practices.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards related to work processes and implemented management systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
Proven experience in software testing
Intermediate knowledge of testing techniques and test types
Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
