About the role
- Engineer/Project Manager overseeing energy sector construction projects including biogas plants. Responsibilities include project management, budget adherence, and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Take over project management for new-build and refurbishment projects in the energy sector (e.g., biogas plants, power plants, etc.), including cost and resource planning
- Serve as the operational client representative on site
- Independently manage construction projects from planning and permitting through execution, commissioning and documentation
- Responsible for meeting deadlines and budgets and for achieving project objectives during project execution
- Act as the main contact for contractors, engineering firms, inspectors and authorities
Requirements
- Degree in energy engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering or plant engineering, or a comparable qualification, or certification as a state-certified technician
- Practical experience as a project manager or project engineer in plant engineering
- Basic knowledge of construction and environmental law, contract law and the VOB (German construction contract procedures)
- Technical expertise in renewable energies, particularly biogas plants, is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken German
- Possession of a valid driving licence class B
