About the role

  • Senior Manager of Strategic Planning managing performance and execution of commercial operating plan at CVS Health. Collaborating across departments to ensure strategic alignment and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the execution and performance management of the commercial operating plan
  • Translates defined strategies into clear initiatives with owners, timelines, budgets, and KPIs
  • Runs and continuously improves the operating rhythm, monitors leading and lagging indicators, and initiates corrective actions to close gaps
  • Provides hands-on guidance on territory/quota deployment, capacity, sales plays and enablement, and go-to-market program execution
  • Escalates risks, removes roadblocks, and holds stakeholders accountable to deliver outcomes on plan
  • Allocates accountability to cross-functional teams to ensure successful development and implementation of strategic plans
  • Collaborates with multiple departments through workshops and brainstorming sessions to facilitate interactive discussions that stimulate creativity and collaboration
  • Delivers a comprehensive, post-implementation evaluation to assess the impact of strategic processes for improved future outcomes

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of industry experience and expertise within healthcare services organizations
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter, able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment
  • Adept at execution and delivery skills
  • Mastery of problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Exemplary communication, presentation, and partnership skills
  • Strong executive briefing and storytelling skills
  • Ability to develop structured problem-solving skills to identify root cause of issues and develop recommendations for resolution
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
