About the role

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with facility leaders and staff to coordinate pharmaceutical services within long term care facilities
- Guide development and evaluation of pharmaceutical services procedures
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and addressing pharmacy-related concerns
- Complete clinical reviews as required by federal and state regulation
- Drive adoption of Omnicare programs and service offerings
- Conduct Executive Reviews and other customer meetings
- Perform Medication Regimen Reviews (MRR) as outlined by regulation or contract
Requirements
- Candidate should reside in Kansas City or the surrounding area
- Active Pharmacy license in good standing in Missouri
- Ability to visit customer facilities located in Kansas City and surrounding areas in Missouri and Kansas
- Active Pharmacy license in good standing in Kansas (preferred)
- 3 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy practice (preferred)
- 1 year of long-term care pharmacy practice (preferred)
- Immunization certified or willingness to become immunization certified (preferred)
- Certification in geriatrics and/or gerontology preferred
- B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required
