About the role
- Mental Health Therapist providing care to clients, collaborating with a clinical team in a remote environment. Focused on mental wellbeing and delivering evidence-based practices within the framework of CVS Health.
Responsibilities
- Support clients in a professional setting focusing on mental health.
- Provide psychosocial support and education needed to address the mental wellbeing of individuals, couples/families ages 13+.
- Deliver evidence-based care and maintain continuity of care for patients.
- Collaborate with a clinical care team and empower therapists to practice at the top of their license.
Requirements
- Current, active, and unencumbered State License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Must be willing and able to obtain additional state licensure.
- Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills leveraging evidence-based methodologies including but not limited to motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
- Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and team skills.
- Experience with or willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery.
- Proven deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using electronic health record systems and engaging on multiple platforms.
- Demonstrated understanding of insurance, Medicaid, Medicare billing requirements.
- Evidence of strong crisis intervention skills.
- Previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital setting.
