About the role
- Assistant Maintenance Manager overseeing operational efficiency at major distribution center sites. Managing maintenance across multiple locations while ensuring safety compliance and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee multiple locations ensuring each site meets high standards of maintenance and operational efficiency
- Start your day with a team meeting to discuss priorities, review safety updates, and address any outstanding issues from previous shifts
- Evaluate, prioritize, and delegate work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and cleanliness standards
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, overseeing safety training, audits, and inspections
- Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to drive improvements
- Provide guidance and support to maintenance technicians, conduct performance evaluations, and lead training and development initiatives
Requirements
- 4-year degree or 5 years of leadership experience in maintenance
- 3+ years in a leadership role managing maintenance teams and programs
- Experience with conveyor systems and robotic maintenance management preferred
- Multi-Site Experience is a Must!
