About the role

  • Procurement Coordinator updating systems and supporting sourcing and finance teams globally at Cummins. Proactively contacting suppliers and preparing documentation for sourcing events.

Responsibilities

  • Updates Procurement systems and coordinates approval and control of Procurement activities.
  • Provides support to sourcing and finance teams globally.
  • Proactively contacts suppliers to maintain pertinent data and documentation.
  • Prepare documentation for sourcing events.
  • Support work delivering results in meeting cost, quality, delivery, and inventory goals.
  • Liaison between procurement teams and other functions.
  • Participate in Project teams to ensure effective implementation of change.

Requirements

  • Experience in Engineering Release change management
  • Written communication skills in English, preferred.
  • Some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.
  • Prior Supply Chain systems experience preferred.
