About the role

  • Lead QA strategy and execution for complex enterprise applications. Defining testing approaches and mentoring junior QAs in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead QA initiatives and continuous process improvements; establish and maintain testing standards and quality metrics.
  • Define and implement testing strategies for complex features, integrations, and end-to-end business processes.
  • Analyze user stories and requirements; design, write, and execute comprehensive sprint and regression test cases.
  • Convert sprint test cases to regression suite artifacts and maintain organized test case management in ALM Octane (or similar).
  • Perform static testing during estimations and grooming; estimate testing effort and complexity for stories.
  • Lead release-level end-to-end testing and coordinate cross-system integration testing.
  • Log, track, and prioritize defects in VersionOne / Digital.AI (or similar); participate in defect triage and drive resolution.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily standups, retrospectives, demos) and collaborate on backlog refinement.
  • Mentor and train junior QA analysts on testing techniques, tools, and best practices; promote a culture of quality and continuous learning.
  • Communicate testing status, risks, and issues to stakeholders; facilitate knowledge-sharing and lessons-learned sessions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance, including leading testing efforts for enterprise applications.
  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and influencing quality across teams.
  • Hands-on experience with test case management tools (ALM Octane or similar) and defect tracking/project management tools (VersionOne / Digital.AI or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test design techniques, requirements analysis, and static testing.
  • Experience testing complex integrations, end-to-end processes, and domain knowledge with Order Management or similar business applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
