About the role
- Project Financial Analyst assisting Project Leads in financial health reporting for projects. Involves budgeting, risk assessment, and project cost estimation.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Leads with monitoring and reporting on the overall financial health of projects
- Develop and maintain project spend plans and forecasts
- Conduct quantitative analyses of project requirements, status, and schedules to determine funding needs and identify risks
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of project funding
- Work closely with Business Financial Managers (BFM)
- Participate in financial reviews
- Assist in preparation of monthly reports financial charts and inputs for briefings
- Track, review, and analyze contract deliverables as compared to project baselines
- Reconcile weekly financial reports from Navy Enterprise Resource Planning
- Provide support with resource planning and execution tracking
- Maintain documentation in SharePoint
- Assist with project cost estimates
- Contribute to the development of new project proposals
- Assist in development, review, revision, and routing of Statements of Objective, Statements of Work, and Justification and Approvals
- Prepare meeting agendas, coordinate, attend and participate in meetings, design reviews, and other meetings as required.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with ten (10) years relevant experience
- An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a master’s degree.
