About the role

  • Senior Audit Accountant supporting attest engagements including audits and reviews at RRBB Accountants + Advisors. Opportunity to expand technical knowledge and leadership skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed audit and attest procedures in accordance with professional standards (GAAS, SSARS).
  • Prepare and review financial statements, workpapers, and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather information, explain findings, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Identify accounting and audit issues and collaborate with supervisors or managers on resolution.
  • Assist with engagement planning, budgeting, and timeline management.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates on engagements.
  • Stay current on accounting and auditing standards relevant to client industries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred.
  • 2–4 years of public accounting experience with a focus on attest/audit services.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and audit software (e.g., CCH Engagement, CaseWare, etc.).
