Responsibilities
Independently plan and execute maintenance and modernization measures for our residential and commercial properties as well as for large-scale construction projects for an assigned portfolio in Mülheim an der Ruhr and Essen
Prepare construction schedules, specifications/tender documents, and assist with contract award processes
Monitor construction projects, execution quality, and subcontractors' deadlines
Monitor warranties/defects liability of our existing properties and ensure safety, health, and environmental protection on site
Support achieving our climate targets by actively contributing to the energy optimization of the building portfolio
Work closely with our landlords, property managers and client advisors
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering (Bauingenieurwesen) or completed training as a technician or master craftsman (m/f/d) with relevance to the housing industry
Solid knowledge of the housing sector
Professional experience in the modernization of existing residential properties, as well as good knowledge of construction law, relevant technical standards and the HOAI
Understanding of and experience with tendering software (e.g. ORCA & iTWO)
Strong cost awareness and strategic thinking
Reliable, team-oriented and communicative personality with assertiveness
