About the role

  • Manage and maintain Windows Server environments
  • Deploy and manage Azure IaaS resources including Virtual Machines, Storage and Resource Groups
  • Support hybrid connectivity using Azure Arc
  • Automate tasks using Powershell and Ansible and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (ie. Bicep)
  • Monitor performance and security using Azure Monitor
  • Assist in cloud migration projects, including lift-and-shift and re-platforming strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, optimize and document infrastructure solutions

Requirements

  • Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
  • 3+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration and Azure cloud operations
  • Strong understanding of cloud governance
  • Experience with scripting and automation
  • Familiarity with Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery and backup solutions
  • Exposure to containerization is a plus
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals and AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certifications are preferred.
