About the role
- Platform Engineer at 3E working on cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure. Collaborating with teams to support infrastructure projects and ensure security compliance.
Responsibilities
- As our operations are expanding, we are looking for a talented Platform Engineer to support us in the design, development and maintenance of our cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
- You will take ownership and coordinate infrastructure-related projects for our SynaptiQ and R&D department application platforms.
- You will join 3E’s infrastructure team, working in close collaboration with the Site Reliability Engineering, Development, and Information Security teams, reporting to the Information Security Teamlead.
- Assist with the planning and execution of infrastructure changes
- Implement and maintain infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and best practices are followed
- You’re a key player in the Incident Management Process
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teams on infrastructure matters
- Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and runbooks for the team
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve infrastructure reliability
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize infrastructure performance, security, and reliability
Requirements
- Is fluent in English, the main language in our company
- Has 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position
- Has experience with Linux administration and immutable OS
- Has experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
- Is experimented in networking, performance troubleshooting (e.g. tcpdump, strace, ss)
- Has experience with configuring IPSec VPN tunnels
- Has experience with AWS or other relevant cloud provider
- Experience in designing/operating scalable infrastructure
- Is a team player with good communication skills
- Comes with strong analytical skills
- Is security minded
- Bonus points for experience working on internal applications platform and programming
- Bonus points for experience working in an ISO27001 certified workplace
