About the role

  • Junior Project Manager at Costain, aiding in project management for major transformation efforts, requiring hybrid office presence in Coventry.

Responsibilities

  • Help co-ordinate the overall transformation portfolio enabling smooth projects running end to end
  • Support the head of TMO in ensuring effective project and change management achieve the intended benefits
  • Ensure that we report against predictability performance and cost for projects

Requirements

  • Has a recognised Project Management qualification or solid experience in Project Management/Project Controls
  • Relevant experience within a Multi Discipline Project Management or Project Control environment
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels, particularly with Client Representatives in the support of stakeholder management.
  • Competent IT skills including MS PowerPoint and MS Excel with the ability to use this to manipulate data and produce data gathering templates
  • Can work to tight timescales and works well under pressure
  • Have a good level of understanding of risk management methodologies and techniques
  • Power BI Skills.
  • Experience of working in a PMO
