About the role

  • CAD/BIM Engineer needed for planning and construction of large diameter pipelines for Anglian Water. Role involves health and safety integration, design collaboration, and technical compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate health and safety considerations into all CAD processes, ensuring safe and maintainable systems.
  • Understand and use specifications, installation details, supplier details, and datasheets for various pipe types and applications.
  • Verify that connection details comply with industry standards and WIMES.
  • Model pipe and duct routes, as directed by the design engineer.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health and Safety (H&S), ensuring consistent H&S standards are maintained.
  • Ensure your work is carried out in accordance with the agreed timescales and effort and advise the Technical Manager of any deviation as soon as it occurs.

Requirements

  • An engineering diploma, degree, or equivalent.
  • Working towards professional status, with a relevant institution.
  • Awareness of the latest relevant standards affecting engineering delivers e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 19650, PAS 1192 etc
