About the role
- Mechanical Engineering Designer responsible for designing HVAC and plumbing systems at Core States Group. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to produce engineering documents and reports.
Responsibilities
- Assist with design tasks and reports under the direction of senior staff.
- Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations as well as generate reports/recommendations based on findings.
- Assist in maintaining task budgets.
- Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFI's and change orders.
- Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.
- Assist senior staff with the project approval process.
- Other related responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the objectives of this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 1-3 years of experience with general building mechanical design production, preferably with commercial projects such as retail, restaurants, grocery, financial, and/or convenience stores.
- EIT preferred, not required.
- Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office required
