About the role
- Senior Financial Analyst providing extensive financial analysis and reporting to support business planning and collaborate with senior leadership. Located in Danvers, MA with a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced financial analysis, forecasting and reporting to support business planning and operational decision-making.
- Lead budget, forecast and long-range planning activities at the company, business unit and product line levels.
- Perform in-depth analysis of Plan and Forecast results and deliver variance explanations.
- Support business units and operational leaders with financial matters.
- Conduct monthly meetings to discuss historical financial results and future performance.
- Work closely with the business to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and support strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations in support of Executive-level and key business partner meetings.
- Develop and review key performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities, monitor strategic objectives.
- Assist with the administration and maintenance of the budget and forecasting platform, business intelligence tools, and the Excel suite of reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts with analytics models and reporting processes to optimize resources, accelerate visibility to outcomes and insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required
- 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with superior attention to detail
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups and functions)
- Ability to extract data from financial systems and into Excel or other analytical tools
- Experience with financial software (e.g. Planful) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Self-starter who can prioritize and manage multiple projects, thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
