About the role
- Procurement Program Manager leading procurement initiatives at Copeland, a global climate technologies company. Responsible for driving cost savings and optimizing procurement processes across manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation procurement cost savings projects
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder alignment across Engineering, Operations, Quality, HR, and other stakeholders in the organization
- Build and manage detailed project plans including milestones, owners, and risk tracking
- Track and report on project progress, risks, and KPIs to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Collaborate with category managers and business stakeholders in building business cases incl. quantifying expected savings, payback, and operational impact
- Track actual benefits realization post-implementation
- Support the transformation of Indirect Procurement by building and implementing standard work and optimized processes, drive analytics and evaluate and roll-out new technology
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experiences in lieu of the degree
- 5+ years of work experience including project or program management experience in an Operations, Logistics or Procurement function
- Ability to work effectively with various levels of the organization to manage scope of work and ensure alignment with business needs
- Results-orientation and problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, assess risk, and drive forward progress in a structured manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and on a team
- Ability to travel domestically occasionally (5%)
