About the role

  • oversee the day-to-day finance operations of Iomart’s Cloud Services business unit
  • prepare monthly Executive Packs for business unit management and Group reporting
  • own divisional P&L, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Group reporting standards
  • oversee monthly close processes, financial controls, ensuring segregation of duties
  • prepare budgets and rolling forecasts, monitor performance, report variances with actionable insights
  • identify cost efficiencies and implement process improvements
  • manage data centre CAPEX budget and spend, collaborating with stakeholders to develop business cases
  • support half-year and year-end audit processes
  • mentor and develop staff within the finance function

Requirements

  • qualified accountant with at least 5 years’ post qualification experience
  • proven track record in translating complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial teams and senior leadership
  • experience in a recurring revenue business model
  • strong track record in cost control, efficiency improvements, and driving continuous process enhancements
  • solid systems knowledge, with exposure to upgrades and process improvement projects (Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central advantageous)
  • confident working with large and complex data sets
