About the role
- Asset Controller managing fund mandates with focus on Private Equity and related assets at an international private bank. Ensuring compliance and administration of investment activities with a detail-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient, compliant and client-centric management of fund mandates
- Responsible for independently managing the bank's private market fund mandates
- Responsible for the daily administration of private market investments
- Controlling of investment activities; monitoring liquidity, cash management, capital calls and distributions
- Coordination of capital events
- Coordination of processes for onboarding new fund mandates
- Handling client inquiries
- Maintenance of tools and reports, including Excel programming
- Preparation and management of documents for committees and senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Professional experience in fund operations, e.g., as a Fund Accountant or Fund Controller
- Comprehensive knowledge of fund products, their life cycle, and related operational processes and regulations
- Experience in cross-functional project management and coordination of fund projects
- Proactive personality with strong attention to detail and a high quality orientation
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- IT aptitude; proficiency in Excel programming (VBA) and development of tools and reports
- Fluent in German and English.
