Responsibilities
- Conduct independent client consultations focusing on matrimonial property and inheritance law in the Basel, Aarau or Olten region
- Draft documents such as marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements, inheritance contracts, wills, anticipatory succession arrangements or inheritance advances, transfers of real estate, gifts, advance care mandates (advance directives), etc.
- Handle estate administrations and executorship mandates
- Deliver presentations at client events and write professional articles
- Conduct internal training on matrimonial property law, inheritance law and banking law
- Expand the department's service offering and participate in projects and committees.
Requirements
- (Business) lawyer or notary; paralegal candidates considered
- Knowledge of banking operations and processes
- Knowledge of adult protection law and banking operations
- Professional experience in estate/inheritance advisory and in executorships or estate administration
- Analytical, team-oriented personality with a strong customer focus
- Self-initiative and diplomatic skills
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written expression
- IT affinity and MS Office skills
- Mobility (ability to travel within the region)
