About the role
- Fonds Controller Product Lines preparing finance projects for an international bank in Zürich. Collaborating with global finance departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial management.
Responsibilities
- Support in controlling group-wide finance projects related to Private Market funds in collaboration with colleagues from the finance departments of global offices
- Analysis and controlling of financing projects for Private Market funds driven by investor capital commitments for investments across the lifecycle: fundraising, investment phases with capital calls, active portfolio management and final exit
- Controlling of data when investor groups invest in private equity funds, direct investments, co-investments or funds of funds
- Controlling hedging projects for private equity funds to protect returns from currency fluctuations
- Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports for senior management and regulatory reporting for authorities
- Ongoing communication with stakeholders worldwide
- Further development of the department, maintenance of systems, tools, interfaces, processes and data quality
- Ad hoc projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking and Finance
- Professional experience at a bank, asset manager, in audit or in banking consulting
- Understanding of the fund industry, its structures and processes
- Operational experience in a fund environment
- Analytical mindset with systems-oriented, open thinking and a practical approach
- Team-oriented with an interest in efficient work organization and meeting fixed deadlines
- Motivated to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders and strong client orientation
- IT affinity and MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- German and English.
