About the role
- IT Developer working on Avaloq Modules for an international bank in Zurich, involved in various business concept projects. Responsible for project design, parameterization of business solutions, and system support.
Responsibilities
- Participate in projects covering analysis, concept development, implementation, integration, testing and rollout of business solutions for portfolio management, trading, payments, tax, Lombard lending, risk management, and related areas.
- Responsible for project design regarding best practices and for implementing solutions within an agile transformation.
- Responsible for supporting IT systems with a focus on sustainability and stability.
- Parameterization of business solutions in Avaloq and connected peripheral systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors to implement new solutions.
- Ensure availability of all relevant systems.
- Evaluate newly submitted change requests from a developer’s perspective.
- Coordinate activities in cross-divisional projects.
- Develop and support in-house applications and interfaces.
- Work on ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Engineering.
- Avaloq certification is a plus.
- Experience working with Avaloq at a bank or in banking consulting, in roles such as IT specialist or application developer.
- Strong scripting/programming skills and knowledge of Oracle SQL.
- Act as a reliable IT partner for an innovative and demanding business.
- Strong aptitude for conceptual and analytical work and solution-oriented thinking.
- Team- and communication-oriented with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders in dynamic environments.
- Resilient personality with initiative and strong execution skills.

- Residence in Switzerland required.
- English required; German is a plus.
