About the role
- Avaloq SW Developer participating in various banking projects and ensuring system sustainability for an international bank in Zürich, Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Participation in projects including analysis, concept development, implementation, integration, testing and rollout of business solutions for portfolio management, trading, payments, tax, Lombard lending, risk management, etc.
- Responsibility for project design with respect to best practices and implementation through agile transformation
- Responsible for supporting IT systems focused on sustainability and stability
- Parameterization of business solutions in Avaloq and associated peripheral systems
- Coordination with external vendors in the implementation of new solutions
- Ensuring availability of all relevant systems
- Evaluation of newly submitted change requests from a developer perspective
- Coordination activities in cross-divisional projects
- Creation and support of in-house developments and interfaces
- Ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Engineering
- Avaloq certification is a plus
- Professional experience with Avaloq at a bank or in banking consulting as an IT specialist or application developer
- Strong programming (scripting) skills and knowledge of Oracle SQL
- Act as a reliable IT partner for an innovative and demanding business
- Flair for conceptual and analytical work and solution-oriented thinking
- Team- and communication-oriented with the ability to work with various stakeholders in dynamic environments
- Resilient personality with initiative and strong execution skills
- Systematic, structured and independent way of working
- Swiss residence required
- English required; German is a plus.
