About the role
- Systems Engineer focusing on NAS Data Warehouse infrastructure management at Concept Solutions LLC. Ensuring availability, security, and efficiency of critical data operations in complex environments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the NAS Data Warehouse infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% availability
- Design, implement, and manage VLAN configurations for iSCSI storage and fiber channel connections
- Configure and support Cisco ASA firewalls
- Administer and optimize network switches in a complex environment
- Document system configurations, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for network and infrastructure enhancements
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred
- Security+ or CISSP preferred
- Expertise in network administration, including VLAN configurations, Cisco ASA firewall management, NAT, and VPN tunnels
- Proficient in Cisco networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Strong expertise in Linux system administration, specifically with RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Solaris platforms
- Experience with cloud and virtualized environments, particularly AWS, VMware, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Atlassian Suite, Apache Kafka, and Microsoft .NET
